Fortedur

System characteristics

Armoured floors are made by the final treatment of a freshly laid concrete slab with which they make a monolithic structure. This treatment is performed by applying dry mixture containing special types of cement, fillers and chemical additives. This floor is intended for operations where extreme abrasion resistance, impact resistance and an increased seepage resistance (oil, solvents, and others) is required.

Process steps

  • Laying concrete slab of at least
  • 10 cm thickness
  • Covering fresh slab by filling mixture
  • Smoothing
  • Application of top sealing lacquer
  • Cutting of expansion joints and filling them
  • with jointing compound

  • Fortedur 1010 (filling sand-based mixture for medium load)
  • Fortedur 1020 (filling mixture with 55% of fillers based on sintered oxides
  • for heavy load)
  • Fortedur 1025 (filling mixture based on synthetic and metallic fillers
  • for heavy load)
  • Fortedur 1030 (filling mixture with 56% of metallic fillers for very heavy load)
  • Fortedur 1040 (filling mixture for very heavy load with an aesthetic effect)
  • Fortecoat 1425, 1426 (top sealing lacquer)
