We needed a fast solution for a badly damaged concrete floor. An important requirement was that the resulting surface should withstand frequent movement of heavily loaded trolleys
On top of that, we can only afford to close for about 2 days a year, so we needed the floor to be finished in the shortest possible time. Because we were able to try Fortelock out in the busiest spot, our decision in its favour was clear-cut.
Now, besides the quality of the tiles even under heavy loads and the option of laying them without closing, we see further advantages. The floor is not slippery and if a single tile were to be damaged after all, it can be replaced immediately.
The first quotation came to more money, but once I worked out what shutting the shop would have cost us, and now that we see the further advantages, we are extremely satisfied and are considering laying Fortelock in the other part of the shop too.
