Varnishing gives the floor a smart appearance, increased durability and makes maintenance easier.
The result is a functional floor that is attractive to look at and pleasant to the touch.
Varnishing of printed tiles
When ordering printed tiles, varnishing is the recommended part of the final floor finish.
The PU varnish used protects the chosen print, extends its durability during cleaning and enhances the colours.
If you do not wish to have the tiles varnished, please let us know in advance.
Varnishing of unprinted tiles
We offer our customers the option of varnishing standard Fortelock tiles as well.
This process is not essential. The tiles are durable and non-slip even in their raw state.
Customers opt for this option when they wish to simplify subsequent maintenance and enhance the appearance.
You can also return varnished tiles to us as part of our Tile Take-Back Service.
