Why choose Fortelock ESD flooring?
Fortelock ESD protects what your operations depend on. It ensures the safe and controlled dissipation of static electricity in areas where sensitive technology is used, and prevents discharges that could damage electronics or disrupt the smooth running of production. At the same time, it maintains stable ESD properties over the long term and meets strict standards for sensitive technological and manufacturing environments.
The conductive material throughout the tile ensures consistent electrical properties throughout its service life.
The R10 anti-slip finish, combined with high mechanical resistance, can withstand even heavy traffic and point loads.
Thanks to its homogeneous material, the floor retains its ESD properties even under long-term stress and normal wear and tear.
When the correct cleaning products are used, no insulating layer is formed that would impair the dissipation of static electricity.
Fortelock flooring is built to last. And if it does get damaged? You simply replace the individual tile and business as usual. No downtime, no sanding, no large-scale repairs.

Comparison of ESD flooring types
Different types of ESD flooring address electrostatic discharge in different ways. They vary in terms of durability, installation complexity and maintenance. Find out how Fortelock ESD differs from other solutions.

With acrylic coatings, the ESD function is limited to the surface and diminishes over time, which is why regular renewal is necessary. Fortelock ESD dissipates static electricity throughout the entire thickness of the material and maintains stable properties throughout its service life.

The application of an epoxy floor is technically demanding, requiring a level substrate and a shutdown of operations. Fortelock ESD is laid without adhesive, is quick to install, and can be fitted in sections whilst operations continue as normal.

Adhesive-backed ESD linoleum requires precise installation, a level subfloor and more complex maintenance. And if it gets damaged, it is difficult to repair. Fortelock ESD is modular, so you can easily replace a specific tile or rearrange the entire floor.

PVC ESD tiles combine ease of installation, high mechanical and chemical resistance, and a long service life. Fortelock ESD also offers conductivity throughout the entire thickness of the material and a non-slip surface, making it a comprehensive, long-term ESD solution.
Fortelock ESD flooring options
Every ESD facility has different requirements in terms of load capacity, substrate and installation method. Fortelock offers two types of electrostatic-dissipative flooring, allowing you to choose a solution tailored precisely to the conditions of your space.
A floor that complements your space
Fortelock ESD flooring is available as standard in Grey and Graphite. A Black version is also available, which is suitable, for example, for visually separating different areas of a facility or specific zones.

Myths that aren't true
PVC flooring has come a long way. Find out why it offers much more today than many people realise.
Fortelock is designed for tough conditions. It’s in a completely different league to standard plastic for hobby use.
Fortelock paving blocks have a high point and surface load-bearing capacity (up to 6,600 kg) and, thanks to their modular system, can withstand repeated loads.
Modern PVC flooring is commonly used in industrial settings, warehouses, workshops and high-traffic commercial premises.
If the right type is chosen and it is properly maintained, PVC flooring can last for decades.
With modular PVC systems, a damaged section can be easily replaced without affecting the surrounding area.
On the contrary. PVC flooring is one of the least demanding options in terms of maintenance and day-to-day use.
