Our surface can handle what others can’t

Whilst other solutions require grinding, levelling or bonding, Fortelock works even where the substrate is not ideal. Fortelock adapts, is durable and, what’s more, can be installed in a matter of hours.

Epoxy takes time. Fortelock is ready straight away

An epoxy floor can take 3 to 7 days to dry. With Fortelock, you’re done in 3 to 4 hours.

Where ceramics crack, Fortelock holds

Fortelock can withstand heavy impacts and falls from tools or heavy objects. Such impacts and falls would have shattered ceramic materials long ago.

You stick down vinyl. You simply click Fortelock into place

Unlike adhesive vinyl, Fortelock requires no complicated surface preparation or chemicals.

A level surface? Not essential

Unlike ceramic tiles, vinyl flooring or epoxy coatings, Fortelock does not require a perfectly level subfloor.

These are common questions. We have specific answers.

Yes, tyres may leave marks on the floor during use – this is common with any type of flooring in a car repair workshop. However, this does not damage the material. The floor is neither damaged nor warped.

Yes. The floor is designed to withstand daily service use. It can easily cope with hoists, ramps, trolleys and general tool handling.

It’s simple. The damaged tile is removed and replaced with a new one, without the need to dismantle the entire floor. The repair is quick and does not require a long period of downtime.

Nothing major. Oils, water and common household chemicals do not soak into the material. Simply wipe them up straight away or wash the floor, and the surface will remain functional and undamaged.

Yes. The flooring can be laid in stages, section by section. This means that the facility can remain open during installation, without the need to close the entire premises.

Myths that aren't true

The most common misconceptions about PVC flooring

PVC flooring has come a long way. Find out why it offers much more today than many people realise.

Plastic flooring is always soft and unstable

Fortelock is designed for tough conditions. It’s in a completely different league to standard plastic for hobby use.

PVC flooring is easily damaged or cracked

Fortelock paving blocks have a high point and surface load-bearing capacity (up to 6,600 kg) and, thanks to their modular system, can withstand repeated loads.

PVC is only suitable for domestic use

Modern PVC flooring is commonly used in industrial settings, warehouses, workshops and high-traffic commercial premises.

PVC flooring doesn't last very long

If the right type is chosen and it is properly maintained, PVC flooring can last for decades.

If the PVC is damaged, the entire floor must be replaced

With modular PVC systems, a damaged section can be easily replaced without affecting the surrounding area.

PVC flooring is high-maintenance
