What makes Fortelock flooring so special?
High durability, no downtime, tiles replaced in a matter of minutes.
Exactly what your business needs.
Fortelock can withstand even harsh environments involving oils and chemicals. Without damaging the surface.
The tiles have a load-bearing capacity of up to 6,600 kg. They remain undamaged and unaffected by deformation under normal operating loads.
If a tile gets damaged, you only need to replace the damaged one, not the whole area. You don’t need to redo the subfloor.
Installation requires no gluing, drying or downtime – you can carry on working.
Fortelock tiles are simply built to last. But what if one tile gets damaged? You simply replace it. No glue, no sanding, no downtime and no need to call in a professional.

Comparison of flooring
More durable, more practical and no downtime required. Fortelock offers benefits that traditional flooring does not. Here is the difference between Fortelock and traditional solutions.

An epoxy floor can take 3 to 7 days to dry. With Fortelock, you’re done in 3 to 4 hours.

Fortelock can withstand heavy impacts and falls from tools or heavy objects. Such impacts and falls would have shattered ceramic materials long ago.

Unlike adhesive vinyl, Fortelock requires no complicated surface preparation or chemicals.

Unlike ceramic tiles, vinyl flooring or epoxy coatings, Fortelock does not require a perfectly level subfloor.
Fortelock flooring options
We offer a range of tiles to suit different load-bearing requirements, applications and designs. Find the one that’s right for you.
A functional solution with the option to customise the visual appearance
Zoning, traffic management or warning lines – Fortelock flooring allows you to visually organise traffic flow without compromising on durability.
Do you have any practical questions? We’ve answered exactly those
Questions are a natural part of the decision-making process. We’ll give you clear answers.
A small amount of water won’t damage the floor. Thanks to the AirFlow system, the floor is able to ‘breathe’, allowing excess moisture to evaporate naturally. If there is a larger amount of water, we recommend wiping it up with a cloth or mop, removing the tiles and drying the floor.
Yes, the tiles are highly resistant to common chemicals such as oil, petrol, diesel and other substances. However, it is still necessary to wipe these substances off as soon as possible to prevent further damage.
This is necessary wherever the floor is exposed to sunlight or other sources of heat. PVC naturally expands, so the floor must be underlaid in these areas.
Maintenance is simple. For routine cleaning, all you need is water and a standard detergent; in commercial settings, machine cleaning is also fine. The surface is durable, so you needn’t worry about daily wear and tear or dirt. For a flawless finish, we recommend ForteClean cleaners.
No. The tiles have a solid, substantial appearance and look technical and professional. In real life, they don’t look like ‘plastic’, but like a proper industrial floor that still looks good even after years of use.
Yes. The floor is designed to withstand heavy loads – it can easily cope with cars, jacks, pallet trucks and standard workshop or warehouse equipment. When used correctly, it retains its shape and functionality over the long term.
Laying the tiles is quick and easy. The tiles simply click into place, usually without the need for adhesive. You can do it yourself, even in stages. For larger areas or those subject to heavier footfall, additional fixing may be required – depending on the specific conditions.
Myths that aren't true
PVC flooring has come a long way. Find out why it offers much more today than many people realise.
Fortelock is designed for tough conditions. It’s in a completely different league to standard plastic for hobby use.
Fortelock paving blocks have a high point and surface load-bearing capacity (up to 6,600 kg) and, thanks to their modular system, can withstand repeated loads.
Modern PVC flooring is commonly used in industrial settings, warehouses, workshops and high-traffic commercial premises.
If the right type is chosen and it is properly maintained, PVC flooring can last for decades.
With modular PVC systems, a damaged section can be easily replaced without affecting the surrounding area.
On the contrary. PVC flooring is one of the least demanding options in terms of maintenance and day-to-day use.
