Fortemix

Fortemix cement compounds

It's not just one compound. It's a complete floor system.

From priming through levelling and hardening to the final treatment – our compounds build on one another and form a single functional whole. Choose according to the floor layer you are working on right now.

An integrated system

The layers match chemically and mechanically – no guesswork about compatibility.

Fast installation

Short waiting times between steps and fast moisture loss shorten construction time.

Extreme durability

Dry-shake hardeners and hardening coatings withstand heavy traffic, abrasion and impacts.

Active additives

ASA, CRYX, CRACK STOP, Silica – additives that work directly in the compound.

How the layers build on each other

Concrete substrate

Final finish and treatment

Seals and protects the finished surface – reduces dusting, increases gloss and makes maintenance easier.

  • FormulaForte – hardening and refining coatings
  • Fortecoat 1425–1427 – curing coating for fresh concrete and dry-shake floors
  • Fortecoat 1430 Protect+ – temporary curing coating

Surface hardening

Creates a hard, abrasion-resistant wearing layer for heavy traffic.

  • Fortedur – cement dry-shake hardeners (1010–1030)
  • FormulaForte – chemical hardening of concrete

Levelling and screed

Evens out irregularities and creates a smooth, flat base for further layers or the final surface.

  • Fortedur WET – screed compound for concrete floors

Substrate priming

Consolidates the substrate, evens out its absorbency and ensures the adhesion of further layers.

  • Fortecoat 1410 – acrylic dispersion primer

Clearly, by purpose

Three families of compounds by what they do

Instead of a long list of names: three groups by their role in the floor build-up.

What works inside the compound

Active additives

Special admixtures that give our floors the edge. They are not in every compound – we combine them according to the purpose.

ASA additive

The ASA additive (Anti-Shrinkage Agent) is a special admixture contained directly in the dry mix. It significantly reduces the formation of hairline cracks on the surface of the finished floor by ensuring greater volume stability. You can therefore rely on an improved visual impression and better mechanical properties of the finished floor.

CRYX additive

The CRYX additive creates a so-called crystallisation effect, which binds the mixing water into the crystalline structure of the forming material. This prevents it from escaping, shortens the setting time and, above all, significantly limits the formation of microcracks.

CRACK STOP (CS)

CRACK STOP (CS) fibres. The product contains highly resistant zirconia fibres that provide three-dimensional (omnidirectional) reinforcement of the material as it cures and subsequently help increase resistance to high local loads.

Silica Effect

Silica Effect – using very fine spherical particles in the dry component of the system achieves lower surface porosity. This ensures lower absorbency, higher frost resistance and corrosion resistance, as well as increased strength (compressive, flexural and abrasion resistance) and greater compactness of the entire floor system.

Abrasive microparticles

Abrasion-resistant microparticles – by adding highly abrasion-resistant microparticles, which become part of the uppermost surface layer of the finished system, surface resistance is significantly increased.
