Gym room at Apartmány Montanus, Czech Republic

A Fortelock floor is ideal not only for fitness centres, but also for home gym corners and rooms. The floor is easy to lay and can be moved at any time if the layout changes. A few weeks ago we carried out the installation of a Fortelock Industry floor in the Priessnitz apartment at Apartmány Montanus. As part of this order the customer also used the tile printing service PRINT CUSTOM, thanks to which he can have his logo right on the floor of the new gym. We are glad we can pass on a reference straight from the owner:

"Every year we try to prepare something new for the guests of Apartmány Montanus to make their stay with us even more enjoyable. After this difficult year of closed fitness centres and sports facilities of all kinds, we came up with the idea of turning an unused veranda into a gym room where ladies, gentlemen and children alike would find something for themselves. There is an exercise bike, a stepper, resistance bands, a weight bench, dumbbells, parallel bars, fitness mats and other equipment. Since the veranda is laid with ceramic tiles, which are cold in themselves and at risk of cracking, we looked around for a more suitable floor that we could lay over the original ceramic tiles.

For the new gym we wanted a colourful PVC floor that would cushion impacts and could also be laid easily without drilling and without altering the original tiling. If the building were to be extended in the future, the new floor could be moved and fully used somewhere else on the site. It was also important to us that the floor could be easily mopped and, if needed, deep cleaned. By a process of elimination we arrived at the Fortelock floor, which was the only one to meet all these requirements, and on top of that it looks stylish. We are also delighted with the printing on the tiles. We took the opportunity to have a tile printed with our logo, all we had to do was send the artwork in vector curves. The result is worth it.

The installation was really lightning fast. If we had not been cladding the skirting and the step, it would have taken less than an hour, which is really great. We are very pleased with the result and we believe our guests will be too. If you are thinking about a floor for a gym corner or room, just as we were, we can only recommend the Fortelock floor."
