Which decors are available in the Fortelock Business range?

There are seven decors in the online shop: Forsen Dark Sky, Sauda Cold Lava, Sauda Gold Rush, Sauda Hidden Treasure, Scandinavian Oak, Tornes Full Moon and Tyrolean Oak, all with Graphite joints. The collection combines the Fortelock interlocking system with decors from the world's leading manufacturers of heavy-duty vinyl flooring. Further made-to-order decors can be found in the catalogue.

Does the wood decor on Business tiles flow seamlessly from tile to tile?

Not automatically. The Business pattern is random, so the wood grain does not continue between neighbouring tiles. We recommend laying the tiles out before installation and arranging them by shade so that the surface looks natural. They can be laid in a chequerboard pattern or in a staggered bond offset by 16, 32 or 48 cm.

How big is one Fortelock Business tile?

The dimensions including the locks are 653.5 × 653.5 mm and the actual coverage is 640 × 640 mm, so 1 m² takes 2.44 tiles. The tile is 7 mm thick and weighs approximately 4.1 kg. The heterogeneous version has a 0.7 mm wear layer, the homogeneous version 2 mm.

Can Business flooring withstand shopping trolleys?

Yes, the floor copes easily with shopping trolleys and heavy customer traffic. When loose-laid, it can take a hand pallet truck of up to 1,300 kg and cars or handling equipment with pneumatic tyres of up to 3,500 kg. The use classes are 23–34–43, but for class 43 the tiles must be fully glued down.

Why is Business flooring almost impermeable to water?

Thanks to the patented ZeroGap locking system, which minimises water permeability at the joints. The floor can therefore be mopped as usual without worrying about water getting underneath, and less dirt gets into the joints. The locks are hidden and the joints are graphite-coloured.

How do I choose a decor if I can't see it in person?

Order an 8 × 8 cm tile sample. You choose the colour and type of tile in the form and can then look at the sample in the very space where the floor will be laid. If the parcel has not arrived within 10 days of ordering, contact our customer helpline. You can order a sample online.
