Fortelock Invisible

Industrial durability, premium appearance – the concealed lock creates a seamless surface without any visible ‘puzzle’ effect.

Standard interlocking tiles work reliably, but at first glance they give away what they’re made of – the typical interlocking pattern is visible from a distance. Fortelock Invisible changes all that. Thanks to the concealed interlocking mechanism, the tiles leave only straight, clean lines, and the surface appears as a single, seamless plane. The result is a floor that has the durability of an industrial tile but looks like a premium surface.

It is suitable for garages and workshops where you want more than bare concrete, as well as for showrooms, shops, offices and fitness centres, where appearance is just as important as functionality. Tiles made from 100% homogeneous PVC are fully recyclable and can withstand heavy loads, vehicle traffic and everyday wear and tear. And thanks to the glue-free installation, you can renovate most spaces in a single day.

A floor that can handle both heavy use and a formal setting

Fortelock Invisible is designed for spaces where durability or design alone is not enough – you need both. The concealed locking mechanism ensures a secure connection between individual tiles, yet remains invisible once laid. The joints run in straight lines, giving the space a seamless and clean look – whether it’s a garage, a showroom or an office.

The tiles are 6.7 mm thick and measure 468 × 468 mm. They are made from highly durable homogeneous PVC and are resistant to mechanical stress, abrasion and common chemicals. The surface is non-slip and effectively dampens noise and vibrations. The special snakeskin pattern with subtle sheen makes cleaning easier and effectively conceals minor dirt.

The most common uses for Fortelock Invisible: garages and workshops, car repair shops and tyre centres, production and storage facilities, fitness and sports areas, shops, showrooms, commercial and office spaces, and exhibition stands.

If a tile becomes worn over time, you can simply replace that specific tile – without having to demolish the surrounding area or interrupt operations. You can use different colours to distinguish between different areas of the space, thereby marking out parking spaces, service zones, walkways or retail sections.

Key benefits of Fortelock Invisible

A concealed lock for a clean, smart appearance

Whereas traditional interlocking tiles create a typical jigsaw effect, Invisible offers almost invisible joints. Once laid, the joints run in straight lines and the floor appears as a seamless surface. This means you can use the same tile without compromise in a car repair shop and in the showroom next door – the visual quality is suited to commercial spaces, whilst the durability meets the demands of industrial use. The snakeskin pattern with subtle sheen also gives the surface a modern look and effectively masks minor dirt and scratches.

High durability for everyday use

Beneath its premium appearance lies a fully-fledged industrial tile. Its 6.7 mm thickness and homogeneous PVC construction ensure high compressive strength and resistance to abrasion, impact and chemicals. The flooring reliably withstands vehicle traffic, handling equipment and everyday operations in workshops, service centres and warehouses. It remains stable under wheel rotation and resists contact with oils, petrol and common industrial chemicals.

Quick installation without adhesive and downtime

The tiles are laid using the dry method – no adhesive, no dusty sanding and usually no complicated substrate preparation either. You can install the floor in sections depending on operational requirements, apply full load immediately after laying, and dismantle, relocate or add to any section at any time. You’ll particularly appreciate this in premises where you can’t afford extended downtime – you can renovate a showroom, shop or fitness centre overnight and open with a new floor in the morning.

Air-Flow system: a dry floor free from mould

Beneath the tiles lies the Air-Flow microchannel system, which draws moisture away from beneath the floor and allows the subfloor to ‘breathe’. This reduces the risk of mould and damp patches on walls and floors. As a result, the floor retains its shape and stability even in areas where condensation commonly occurs – such as garages, unheated storage rooms or spaces with higher humidity.

12-year warranty, service life of up to 25 years

Fortelock Invisible comes with a warranty of up to 12 years and, when used correctly, has a lifespan of up to 25 years. The tiles do not peel or crack and are highly resistant to mechanical and chemical stress over the long term. A single investment that lasts for years – no repeated painting, no skimming, no costly renovations.
