Fortelock Business

Designer flooring with premium finishes and a unique ZeroGap locking system – for shops, restaurants and commercial premises that cannot close for even a single day.

Renovating the floor in a shop, restaurant or office usually means weeks of closure, moving furniture, dust and lost revenue. Fortelock Business changes all that. You can lay the floor in stages whilst the premises remain fully operational – no glue, no wet methods, no waiting for it to dry. Start in the morning, open in the afternoon. Thanks to a wide range of premium designs and three joint colours, the result looks like a designer floor, not tiles. And the special ZeroGap locking system minimises water permeability at the joints, so you can wash the floor without worrying about excessive seepage.

A designer floor suitable for heavy-duty use and high-profile settings

In commercial premises, it’s not enough for the floor simply to be durable – it must also look the part. Customers, guests and staff notice the appearance of the floor, even if they don’t realise it. Fortelock Business has this in mind: it offers visually sophisticated designs that make the floor part of the interior design, not just a functional surface.

A robust interlocking system with a concealed joint ensures a stable connection between individual planks. Once laid, they form a seamless surface with a decorative joint that highlights the chosen pattern and gives the floor a professional finish. You can choose from a range of designs and three joint colours, so you can easily match the floor to your interior – whether it’s a modern shop, a rustic restaurant or corporate offices.

The tiles feature a durable wear layer designed to withstand heavy use. The floor reliably withstands mechanical stress, abrasion and exposure to common chemicals, and offers a safe, non-slip surface. When laid as a loose-lay system, it can safely withstand the passage of cars and handling equipment with tyres weighing up to 3,500 kg.

Fortelock Business is most commonly used in: shops and supermarkets, showrooms, restaurants and cafés, offices, schools, exhibition spaces, as well as residential and communal areas.

Key benefits of Fortelock Business

Refurbishment without closing the premises

This is the biggest advantage of Business for commercial premises: you don’t have to close down. You can lay the flooring in stages – renovate one section of the shop or restaurant whilst the rest continues to operate as normal. This eliminates the costs that usually make refurbishment so expensive: closing the premises, clearing the space, temporarily storing equipment and then putting it all back in place. Thanks to the large format – just 2.44 tiles per m² – installation is also significantly faster than with standard sizes. Fortelock Business is laid using a dry method without adhesive, so you don’t have to wait for it to set and can use the space almost immediately.

Premium design and aesthetics

Unlike plain industrial tiles, the Business range offers a wide variety of designs and a choice of three grout colours. The decorative grout is not concealed but, on the contrary, deliberately highlighted – it emphasises the chosen pattern and gives the floor a designer look. The result looks like a professionally designed interior, not a makeshift solution. The designs are created to meet the requirements for a prestigious look in spaces such as showrooms, restaurants, offices and schools.

The unique ZeroGap lock

In restaurants, shops and schools, the floor is washed regularly – and with standard interlocking tiles, water seeps into the joints and under the floor. ZeroGap prevents this: a special interlocking system ensures minimal water permeability at the joints, so you can clean the floor using standard methods without worrying about water seeping underneath. This means easier maintenance, a more hygienic environment and a lower risk of moisture-related problems beneath the floor.

High mechanical strength

Despite its decorative nature, Business retains exceptional compressive strength. When laid as a loose-lay floor, it can safely withstand the passage of cars and pneumatic-tyred handling equipment weighing up to 3,500 kg. In shops and supermarkets, this means trouble-free movement of pallet trucks and delivery trolleys; in showrooms, it allows vehicles on display to be parked directly on the floor.

Long service life and sustainability

We offer a warranty of up to 12 years on these tiles. The entire system is fully recyclable – at the end of its service life, we offer a take-back scheme for the material. No need for repeated repainting, no replacements after just a few seasons, and no unnecessary waste.
