What makes Fortega roofs special?
Designed for harsh climatic conditions
You’ll get a quiet roof that has withstood Canadian winters and will last for decades.
Lightweight
Thanks to its light weight, Fortega does not put a strain on the roof structure. This is essential for renovations of older homes, where you can save on costly carpentry work that would be required for heavy clay tiles.
Maximum Sound Attenuation
Forget about the clanging of metal. The composite material naturally absorbs the sound of falling raindrops and hail. So you can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in the attic, even during a storm.
High Impact Resistance of the Material
The material is exceptionally tough, flexible and crack-resistant. Technology tried and tested in the Canadian winter ensures that the roof will retain its structural integrity and appearance for decades.
Sustainability
We give beverage cartons a new lease of life. By combining recycled plastic and aluminium, we create a material with a lifespan of over 50 years, which is fully recyclable again at the end of its life cycle.
An investment in a roof with a lifespan of over 50 years
Fortega roofing is designed to withstand hailstorms and extreme frosts with ease. It ensures your home remains perfectly quiet, free from the clanging of metal, and is so lightweight that you won’t need to reinforce the roof structure.

Comparison of roofs
A comparison of Fortega roofs with standard roofing materials
Lighter, quieter and with no compromises during renovation. Fortega offers a solution where traditional roofing materials reach their limits. See what makes the difference.

Roof tiles put a strain on the roof structure. Fortega is lightweight.
Clay and concrete tiles are heavy and often require the structure to be reinforced. Fortega is also ideal for renovations that do not involve altering the roof structure.

The metal rattles. Fortega dampens the noise.
Metal roofs amplify the sound of rain and hail. Thanks to its composite material, Fortega dampens this noise and ensures a quieter home.

Shingles age. Fortega lasts.
Asphalt shingles deteriorate over time and absorb water. Fortega is non-absorbent, stable and long-lasting.

Traditional roofing materials take time to install. Fortega is easy to lay.
Conventional roofing materials require complex installation and substrate preparation. Fortega uses a system solution that simplifies and speeds up installation.
