Stromy pro Javorník
The Moravian-Silesian Region and Biskupské lesy have once again set out to show the wider public how important and demanding the work of foresters is, and to remind us all of the value forests hold for us. After successful planting in previous years, they decided to organise another Stromy pro Javorník event and reach out to the general public as well.
This initiative has been running since 2021 in the Ondřejník and Velký Javorník areas and is an example of successful environmental activity. Thanks to more than 20,000 trees planted, it is helping to strengthen the ecological stability of the local forests and support the region's natural biodiversity.
This year we again had the chance to support the event, both as a partner and in person. So we rolled up our sleeves and contributed at least a little to restoring the forests in this area, which has been severely affected by a bark beetle calamity for several years now.
We would like to thank the organisers and our colleagues from Fortemix for the wonderful atmosphere and the time spent together, and we look forward to future editions.
