FORTEMIX office building among the E.ON ENERGY GLOBE finalists!

We are delighted to share great news – our FORTEMIX office building has been selected by the expert jury among the 6 best projects of the prestigious E.ON ENERGY GLOBE 2025 competition! This success is the result of teamwork and the innovative approach of the architects from PROJEKTSTUDIO in Ostrava, who have already won the ADAPTERRA AWARDS with this project.

In the world of industrial architecture, speed, functionality and cost are often the deciding factors. But what happens when you add an emphasis on ecology, innovation and sustainability? This is exactly the path chosen by the architectural studio PROJEKTSTUDIO . The result is a modern, environmentally responsible renovation of an office building that proves industrial structures can be green, efficient and beautiful.

Ecology + Design + Efficiency

The project combines ecological sustainability with modern design and smart management of natural resources. Recycled materials, green features and technological innovations were used, contributing to a significant reduction in energy consumption. Particularly noteworthy is the reuse of original portable cabins and shipping pallets as part of the facade cladding. This approach not only cuts costs but also the carbon footprint associated with building new structures.

Greenery that makes sense

Green facades, rooftop gardens and indoor plants improve the microclimate, retain water and support a healthier working environment. Grass paving also promotes the natural infiltration of rainwater and reduces the load on the sewage system. Efficient operation is further supported by a ventilated facade that protects the interior from overheating, while a thoughtful lighting design – including a roof skylight and a glazed floor – ensures maximum natural light and energy savings.
