We supported the ADRA volunteer centre

As part of the sixth edition of our FORTEGRANT corporate programme supporting beneficial activities and projects, this year we newly nominated the ADRA FM volunteer centre and raised a wonderful CZK 6,000, which we handed over at the beginning of December during a meeting with Iveta Oberreiterová, the coordinator for FM.

The ADRA Frýdek-Místek volunteer centre connects people willing to help with those who need it. ADRA F-M is part of the humanitarian organisation ADRA, which helps people in need. They coordinate volunteering in the Frýdek-Místek, Třinec, Kroměříž and Nový Jičín regions. The volunteers bring joy into people's lives and support to children and young people, seniors, people with disabilities and those with serious illnesses. As the very first ADRA volunteer centre in the Czech Republic, they have been active since 2004.

They cooperate with retirement homes, providers of social and health services and other facilities, develop volunteering in seniors' households, and run charity ADRA shops and social clothing banks.
