Helping to restore the planet

And that these are not just words is confirmed, among other things, by our cooperation with the Eden reforestation project. Its goal is to restore forests in various corners of the world. It currently operates in eight countries and has already planted almost 600 million trees. At the same time, it hires local people living in poor communities, giving them the opportunity to earn a dignified living. In this way it creates a perfect cycle that helps not only nature but also the inhabitants of the country in question. You can find more information here.

And how does planting trees relate to flooring manufactured near Ostrava? Fortemix has committed that for every 1  m2 of tiles produced it will donate the price of a seedling (tree). The company's owner chose a region in Nepal. This is how a new forested area with almost 750,000 new trees will grow. Thanks to this, dozens of locals will find work, which is not at all easy in these parts.
