A garage for tuning-car enthusiasts has to withstand a lot, and it is the floor that takes the most punishment.

Basic requirements for a garage floor

A garage floor has to meet several basic requirements so that it can serve well in these spaces. First and foremost it should be durable and long-lasting, but it also has to withstand heavy loads and, ideally, be easy to maintain.

So which type of garage floor should you choose?

A frequently used and popular option is flooring made of epoxy resin or polyurethane coatings. Some people opt for interlocking tiles or stone carpets in their garages. Their installation and maintenance are fairly time-consuming and complicated.

Fortelock tiles are resistant to chemicals and abrasion, resistant to wear and resistant to loads. They provide thermal and acoustic insulation and are very easy to maintain and clean. A durable, very tight locking system ensures that only a minimal amount of water can get underneath the floor. The tiles feature AirFlow channels that provide ventilation. As a result, there is no rotting or odour beneath the flooring.

One of the advantages of Fortelock PVC tiles is the ability to replace individual tiles without having to dismantle the entire floor. You simply remove the damaged tile and replace it with a new one.

How and with what to clean a Fortelock floor?

Maintaining the floor is easy too. Simply wipe it with a mop using water and a standard cleaning product suitable for floors. If you want to boost the floor's shine or remove extreme dirt, we recommend products by the Dr. Schutz brand.

And the best for last. The polymer structure of the Fortelock floor is resistant to most oils and acids. If something spills, simply wipe the tiles.
