Recycling

PVC is one of the most widely used plastics in the world, with a broad range of long-lasting applications. Thanks to its irreplaceable properties, it is used extensively in construction, as well as in the sports and medical industries. One advantage of PVC material is that it can be recycled repeatedly, several times over.

Through recycling, we save over 2 400 000 kg of plastic from landfill or incineration every year. We have been engaged in recycling activities since 1999. Not only are we able to reuse waste and production rejects, but we also offer customers a take-back scheme for our products under the Tile Take-Back programme. Customers can return the products we have made that they no longer need and that would otherwise go to landfill. In this way, we give our customers the chance to join us in a voluntary recycling commitment and in protecting the environment.

Thanks to our recycling activities, we have obtained the Recovinyl certificate. Recovinyl is an accredited organisation founded in 2003 by VinylPlus®. Recovinyl certifies companies that recycle PVC waste, as well as companies that purchase recycled PVC in order to manufacture new PVC products.
