Supporting the young firefighters of SDH Paskov

The year 2022 was truly exceptional for the young firefighters from Paskov, full of new experiences and activities. They took part in more than 40 different events, including competitions and both one-day and multi-day trips.

SDH Paskov welcomes children of all age groups. They managed to put together one mini team, two groups of younger children and two teams of older firefighters.

As the main part of the programme, the young firefighters and their coaches devoted themselves to training and competitions. As every year, the teams took part in the Moravian-Silesian League of Young Firefighters, where they achieved excellent results. During the competitive season they focused on improving their sporting skills, but they had a busy schedule during the winter too. They organised games, baked Christmas cookies, held themed sleepovers at the fire station and went on trips to the swimming pool, the trampoline park and the climbing wall.

The activities of SDH Paskov did not end with these events, however. Every year the children and their leaders look forward to several adventurous days under canvas at the Jakartovice quarries, where they enjoy swimming, playing games and cooking their own meals. Another highlight was the late-summer paddling trip down the Lužnice river, where the young firefighters had plenty of fun.

We are glad we could contribute at least a little to making some of the 2022 activities happen.
